Our Story
In 2013, Shea and Bryan started a technology and marketing company called Freeform. Shea (a CPA and former accounting firm partner) and Bryan (an MBA and alumnus of Harvard University and Stanford Graduate School of Business with decades of experience as a high level executive) brought their heads together to find the best way of closing the loop between marketing efforts and the revenue produced from those efforts—and Freeform was born.
Freeform immediately experienced explosive growth and in 2016, Inc. Magazine ranked Freeform the #456 fastest-growing company in America and #2 in Oklahoma (where we call home). While Freeform paved the way for many venture-backed startups with their go-to-market strategy, Bryan and Shea started to notice something curious: growth had become too complicated for businesses to understand. It was too expensive and it never happened fast enough. Meanwhile, Freeform was experiencing massive growth using proprietary systems and technology.
We’ll admit, we were surprised. How had this Tulsa-based company managed to make it so easy for our customers to grow while larger agencies and more “sophisticated” marketing and sales technology made it almost impossible to know how to grow? It felt like a modern-day David versus Goliath scenario.
Long story short, after many meetings, endless coffee, and the occasional Vodka (a shared favorite of ours) we came to the simple observation:
In a very sophisticated technological world, businesses need to make growth simple.
Apple didn’t invent the computer, but the company developed its own versions that made the device simple and approachable for everyone. Following this idea, we saw an opportunity to make growth simple for everyone. As a result, in 2019 Freeform launched a product with the goal of replacing marketing and technology with pure and simple growth.
We call it ProfitHack.
